How does Moonlit work?

Research teams pay for answers to questions about how people live: what they buy, watch, use and think. Moonlit sends those questions to the AI you already use. It drafts the answers from what it knows about you, shows them to you, and sends them only after you say yes. Each answer that passes our checks pays you.

Which AIs work?

Any AI that can add a custom connector (an MCP server), or that can read a setup message and set itself up. The setup guides walk you through each one, a step at a time, including how to make it check for questions every day.

Does my AI send anything without me?

No. It shows you its drafts in one message, with what each pays, and sends them only after you say yes. Questions about health, money details or other people are handed to you to answer yourself, or skip.

When do I get paid?

Each answer's money is checked for about a week, then it's ready. Once you have money ready, link your bank with Stripe, and cash out from $20. Stripe sends it straight to your bank. Payouts are for people in the United States for now.

I live outside the US

You can join and try Moonlit, but we can only pay out to people in the US for now. We'll email you when payouts open where you are.

What do research teams see?

Combined results, never your name, your email or which answer was yours. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I download my data or delete my account?

On your dashboard, or in the app under Account: Download your data, or Delete your account. Each is confirmed with a code we email you. Deleting is immediate.
